Poland's jobless rate rises to 11.1 percent

Poland's unemployment rate edged up to 11.1 percent in October from 10.9 percent the previous month, official data showed Wednesday, suggesting the labor market is still weak despite a stabilization in economic activity.

The Central Statistical Office said there were more than 1.74 million people registered as unemployed at the end of October in the country of 38 million.
