BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- China and Poland will bolster military exchanges and cooperation in a bid to promote bilateral relations, senior Chinese and Polish military officials said in Beijing Tuesday. China would work with Poland to promote lasting and in-depth ties, said Xu Caihou, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, in a meeting with Polish Defense Minister Bogdan Klich.
Xu hailed the development of bilateral ties since China and Poland established diplomatic ties in 1949.
He highlighted the high-level contact, booming trade and economic cooperation, and cooperation in culture, education, science and technology, as well as on international and regional issues.
